Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use HIRT, you may provide us with the following information:
- Account Information: Name, email, gender, age, date of birth, subscription details, and any profile information you choose to share.
- Workout Data: Any workout logs, progress tracking, or physical metrics you enter within the app (including weight, height and fitness level).
- Subscription and Purchase Information: Payment information is managed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Media: Any photos or media you take or upload to the app
Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect certain information to support and enhance your experience with HIRT:
- Device Information: IP address, operating system, device model, timezones, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Your interaction with the app, including session data and feature usage.
- Analytics: We utilize Google Firebase and Google Analytics for app usage analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring to continually improve our Service.
- Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We use different technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons.
Information Collected Automatically
We may also receive information about you from external sources. This includes transaction details from app stores where you downloaded our app or made a subscription purchase, and contact information from calendar services you connect. If you sign up or log in through a social media account, we may access certain details from that account, such as your name and other authorized account information, based on the permissions granted by the social media platform. Additionally, we might obtain information from public sources, marketing partners, consumer research platforms, and business contact databases.
How We Use Your Information
Your information helps us operate and enhance HIRT and to deliver a customized experience. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Provide and Maintain the Service: Manage your account, personalize features, store your workout data, answering requests for customer or technical support.
- Enhance Service Quality: Analyse user behaviour for improvement, monitor app performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Send Communications: Contact you about your account, changes to policies, promotional content, and customer support inquiries.
- Share Content with Friends: Our Services may include features that let you connect and share with friends. For instance, you can use our referral tools to share information about our Services with others. These tools may allow you to send or forward specific content, such as an email invitation encouraging a friend to try our Services.
- Marketing and Promoting Our Products and Services: We may use your personal information to personalize and deliver content and advertisements, in compliance with applicable law. Our marketing efforts may include email campaigns, targeted advertising for custom audiences, and “interest-based” or “personalized advertising,” which may also involve cross-device tracking. However, we will not use or share any data collected within the health and fitness context for advertising, marketing, or other data-mining purposes based on usage.

- Facilitating User Interaction: Certain profile details, such as your name, location, workout data, and any video or image content you upload, may be visible to other users to support interaction within the Service. Depending on your account privacy settings, you may be able to control which details in your profile are accessible to other users.
- Public Content: Any content you upload to your public profile, or any Personal Data you choose to share publicly (e.g., on discussion boards, blogs, messages, or chat areas), may be visible to others and can be collected or used by anyone. This includes your username, which may be displayed to other users when you post comments, send messages, or share media through the Service.
- Health App Integration: You may choose to share Health Data with other health apps via the Service. We will not, however, share Health Data with any advertising partners.
- Advertising Partners: We may share certain personal information with third-party advertising partners, who may use tracking tools to collect data about your activities and device information (such as IP address, cookies, pages visited, location, and time of day). This data helps provide personalized advertisements across platforms within their networks. Note that we do not use or disclose Health Data or fitness information to advertising partners or for any use-based data mining.
- Interest-Based Advertising: To enhance your experience, our advertising partners may utilize information collected from your activity to deliver tailored advertisements. This practice, known as “interest-based” or “personalized advertising,” does not use health or fitness data.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this policy, or as required by law.

We prioritize safeguarding your information using standard security practices. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security of electronic data.
How You Can Exercise Your Privacy Rights
To give you control over your personal data, we offer the following rights:
Access, Review, and Update Your Information: You have the right to view, update, or correct any personal data you previously shared with us. This can be done in the profile section of the App. If you would like a copy of the data we process, please send us a data access request.
Delete Your Personal Data: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable laws. We will make reasonable efforts to fulfil your request. In certain cases, however, legal requirements may obligate us to retain some information for a specific period. Once we have met these requirements, we will proceed with your deletion request.
Restrict or Object to Processing: You can ask us to limit or stop using all or some of your personal data.
Additional Rights for EEA Users
If you are based in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following additional rights:
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, typically in the EU country where you reside, work, or where the alleged data issue occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address any concerns directly.
Right to Data Portability: If you wish to receive a machine-readable copy of your personal data, you may request it, and we will provide the data in a .json file or other format.

HIRT is not intended for users under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under this age. If we discover such data, we will promptly delete it.
